At approximately 1:49 PM, I got a call from a recorded female voice claiming to represent my bank's security department. She informed me that my card had allegedly been utilized for a £700 transaction and a £1400 transfer. I was presented with two options: press 1 to chat with an advisor, or press 2 to approve the transactions. I've encountered these sorts of calls several times now, and I've taken the precaution of blocking the number each time they ring.
