Had this call from an Asian bloke saying he was from Microsoft. For ages, it was just those automated calls where you press 1 - you know the sort. But now it feels like they're back to using real people on the line. These guys just spout nonsense and honestly, it’s embarrassing for them and their folks. Told one of them off for it and you could tell the politeness stopped there - fair enough, coz neither did mine!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent. When I asked what the call was about, he stalled a bit. Then he asked if he could speak to my wife, so I asked him why. He was clearly struggling for an answer and eventually said it had something to do with my washing machine. I wasn’t fooled since I’d already figured it was dodgy, so I just hung up and told him I’d be reporting the whole thing as a scam.
