I received a few calls this evening from this unfamiliar number linked to Bodmin, yet there was no voicemail left. Quite puzzling, really!

Around 8.10 in the morning, I got that same recorded call again, a woman saying she’s from Amazon. She rattled off some “order number” and mentioned a hefty charge of £799 on my card. It’s the same old spiel every time. Honestly, you’d think whoever’s behind this dodgy scam might change the amount now and then to sound more believable! Totally fake. I reckon the earlier calls today, which I also reported, were probably from the same lot, even though the phone numbers were different. The numbers were 01424796921 and 01214469173.
