Got a call earlier claiming to be Amazon, but the caller was from India. My mum picked up and they said she had parcels on their way and had won a £25k Amazon gift card. Had to laugh at that one. She came and told me about it from the living room this morning, I told her we hadn't ordered anything nor does Amazon give out gift cards like that. When I called the number back after pressing 3 on 1471, it just wouldn’t connect or was invalid. Totally a phone SCAM as usual.

My mum got a call from some number claiming to be Amazon but the call was coming from India. She answered and they told her she had some parcels on the way from Amazon and said she’d won a £25,000 gift card (as if!). She then told me about it from the living room this mornin’. I told her we hadn’t ordered anything from Amazon and they don’t just give out massive gift cards like that. When I tried calling the number back using 1471 then pressing 3, the line wasn’t recognised or just wouldn’t connect. Definitely a typical phone scam.
