Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my broadband line was being targeted by hackers. I told them I’d ring back because I was tied up. After I rang up my actual internet provider to verify, they confirmed no suspicious activity at all. The same scammer called again later, but when I told him I’d checked with my supplier and caught onto the scam, he just hung up on me 😂
