Had a really thick accent and I couldn’t understand a single thing they were saying. They kept talking about my SIM card on my 3 mobile. They were telling me to visit the 3 mobile store to get it sorted or something like that. Anyway, I just blocked the number in the end.

I got a call on my landline from this bloke who claimed he wanted to talk about a government grant for swapping out my central heating. I told him straight up it was a scam and hung up. Not long after, he rang back, so I blew a dog whistle into the phone and slammed it down. After that, the guy kept ringing non-stop, shouting abuse and swearing, saying I’d never get rid of him. It got pretty scary as he was whispering horrible stuff, really offensive and weird. Eventually, I just disconnected the landline and got my son to block the number for me.
