If you find yourself inundated with persistent calls, here's a little tip: simply press on that number from your call log and block it. I’ve taken to adding these nuisance callers to my phonebook, so I've got a lovely collection from Crud1 right through to Crud10. It's quite revealing just how many of these folks are out there pestering us!

I gave that number a ring and they claimed to represent some energy conservation firm. However, I can't say I've ever heard of them before. Quite likely a dodgy operation, if you ask me. They mentioned they would ring back, but I've taken the liberty of blocking them instead.

Around 6:20pm, I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who somehow knew my surname. She said it was about home insulation grants and wanted to check if I was eligible. I told her straight up to take my number off their list and never ring me again. I’d told them the same thing before but they never bothered to remove me, so I reckon they’re not a proper company - just scammers and liars. Even as I ended the call, she just kept on chatting. I’m on the TPS, unlisted, and hardly use my landline to call out, so I reckon it’s just one of those automated calls.

Just received yet another nuisance call, this time peddling heating solutions for my home. Really getting tired of these relentless marketing attempts!

I’ve been getting loads of calls in the past ten days even though my number’s registered with TPS. Apart from my usual number, I’ve also been getting calls from these numbers: 0203 868 8874, 0203 695 7972, 01208 530214, 01208 530219, 0203 608 4678, 0203 608 4716, and 0203 608 4391. I block them as soon as they ring, but then a completely different number starts calling right after! Feels like I’m stuck in a loop, and I know someone else got hit with a similar lot of numbers around three months ago.

Lately, I’ve been bombarded with nonstop phone calls that just won’t quit. Today was especially frustrating, as I got hit with back-to-back calls over a few hours this afternoon. They kept switching up the numbers to try and trick me into picking up.
