I picked up a call on my elderly mother's phone, only to find myself in a rather peculiar exchange. When I informed the caller that she wasn't around, they proceeded to inquire if I was a relative. I pressed for their identity but instead got the same question thrown back at me. Frustrated, I repeated my query, but before I could get an answer, they abruptly disconnected. It's been quite distressing for my mother, as she keeps receiving calls from an assortment of unfamiliar numbers, and it’s clearly unsettling her.

Back on 15th July 2016, just after 1.45 in the afternoon, I got two rings from someone named "Linda". When I finally picked up, she was asking if I was Mr Green. I kept asking who’s this a couple of times, and then she got all cheeky, asking if I was deaf. Honestly, proper disrespectful.
