I got a ring from this number but didn’t pick up. No clue who they were, kinda feels like it could be a scam or something dodgy?

My phone rang with an unfamiliar number, and I chose not to pick it up since I didn't recognise it. After that, I decided to look it up on 'Who Called Me' to discover who was behind the call.

Somebody called claiming to be from Amazon, saying my account was hacked. They told me an iPhone 14 was being purchased on my account and asked if it was me. I wasn’t too sure, so I didn’t share any details. They then sent me texts with codes that seemed real, but I told them I'd call back myself. After that, the caller started being rude, so I reported it to Amazon. Honestly, feels like a total scam.
