This seems to be a number linked to Bodmin. I've got a few family members living in that vicinity. I picked up the call solely based on that connection. However, it turned out the caller wasn’t a relative at all; rather, it was a scam artist posing as a representative from Curry’s PC World, trying to entice me with a new phone contract. What a nuisance!

Got a call from some Bodmin area code, they said they were from Curry's and claimed to be working with service providers about a "new phone" for me. When I asked whose phone it supposedly was, they wouldn’t say. I answered on my wife’s phone, and they seemed clueless about that. Felt dodgy right away. Definitely a scam, no question.

When someone rang me up saying they were from Sky, I just ended the call straight away because I wasn’t keen on getting scammed.
