Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise on my mobile, but they hung up just as I was about to pick up. They didn’t leave any voicemail, so I’m thinking it might be one of those scam calls.

Got a call supposedly from EE, but as soon as I asked the woman with a thick Asian accent where she got my number from, she just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

Answered the phone then just ended the call straight away.

I reckon it was one of those call centres - there was a big silence before someone finally answered. The lady said she was “just ringing about something from Auto Line.” When I asked, “What’s Auto Line and why are you ringing me?” she suddenly ended the call.

I have no clue why this firm is ringing me up. Probably they’re just dialing numbers at random hoping to make a sale or maybe they punched in a number wrong by accident.
