Got a call from 01208247300 but it just went to answer machine so I hung up straight away and decided to look it up here. I’m in Perthshire. Seriously, if you get calls from numbers you don’t know, make sure to check them out before chatting! I’ve blocked this one now.

Yet another dodgy caller trying to pull off a car accident scam.

Total scammers! Blocking them ain’t helped much for me since they just ring from different numbers all the time. What’s really worked is me letting out a loud whistle right into the phone - seriously, it scares them off. I guess now my number’s off their lists or something haha. Honestly, give it a go, it’s brilliant!

Got a call supposedly from Aviva, bloke speaking with an Indian or SIM card accent. The number showed up as being from Bodmin, about a car crash that I definitely wasn’t involved in. Yeah, right!

I received a call earlier, and let me tell you, the chap on the other end had a strong Indian accent that immediately raised my suspicions. He was banging on about being from AVIVA, insisting I’d had a small car accident a couple of years back. Honestly, it all felt rather dodgy, like a classic scam attempt.

Beware, it's a total scam! If you get scam calls, text the number and the details to 7726. This helps your phone provider flag that number as suspicious, but only if lots of people report it. Please don’t report real numbers there. Also, if you receive scam texts, forward them to 7726 too, and send a screenshot to the police at '[email protected]' so they can look into it.

Got a call from a number I didn’t know in Bodmin and just ignored it. Had a dodgy one from Cardiff the week before. Thinking I’ll just check out what people are saying here and leave it at that.
