I received a call from someone who said they were representing Churchill Insurance, chatting about a supposed car accident I was involved in roughly a year back. Well, that's a load of nonsense! I’ve never been in a car accident, not even once!

I got a call from someone saying they were with an energy saving firm and wanted to know if I’d had an energy efficiency check done at my place. When I asked which company they were actually from, they gave a dodgy reply about working for "a bunch of energy providers". I told them I’m not in the 45 to 70 age group they were apparently targeting, and they just cut me off straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Churchill Insurance. I do have a policy with them for work travel, so maybe they just guessed, or perhaps there’s been some sort of leak of customer details. They mentioned it had to do with a car crash, but that’s rubbish since I don’t even drive. Pretty obvious it was a scam.
