I recently received a call from a chap who had a noticeable Indian accent, introducing himself as David from O2. He attempted to persuade me with some promotional offer concerning my existing deal. The rather amusing part is that I don’t actually have any plan with O2 whatsoever! I'm not even a customer of theirs. Quite the cheeky call, really!

Just ended the call straight away.

The caller claimed to be from Bodmin in England but spoke with an Indian accent. He rushed out where he was ringing from, so I asked him to repeat it, but he just babbled on fast again. When I told him I couldn’t catch his accent properly, he just cut the call. I’ve blocked his number now.

Someone with an Asian accent who gave his name as David claimed he was calling from Carphone Warehouse, but most of what he said was impossible to make out.

Got a call from a woman speaking with an Indian accent, using an 02 number. I just ended the call and blocked it, pretty sure it was one of those scam attempts.
