I received a call the other day with a bloke trying to pitch a discount on my O2 plan, but he went on about the dodgy signal in my locality. Honestly, I decided to end the conversation right there; it felt dodgy, like it could be a scam!

Pretending to be from EE, they were pushing some 'deal' on reduced monthly fees. They just wouldn't accept my refusal. Quite discourteous! I ended the call, blocked the number, and reported them immediately.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise but no voicemail was left. Pretty sure it's one of those dodgy scam calls.

Ignored the call, didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. Pretty sure it was just another scammer!

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, trying to give me a discount because my signal was supposedly bad around here. I kept giving short, one-word replies and then the guy said he didn't actually want any personal details and just ended the call. Honestly, my signal's been fine, actually better than before.

I didn’t pick up 'cos I had a feeling it was one of those scams. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either.

I've had a couple of calls on my mobile from this number. When I tried to return the call, all I got was some cold, mechanical voice saying the line wasn't active. Quite bizarre, really!

I picked up the call, but they immediately disconnected. I've no clue who it was or what they wanted.

I had a rather amusing encounter the other day. Some chap posed as an O2 representative, claiming he could provide me with a special discount. He was quite keen to know what kind of phone I possessed. I pointed out that since I purchased it from an O2 shop, he ought to have that information. I played along with him for a while, which seemed to irk him eventually. He finally snapped, demanding, "Do you want to upgrade your phone or not?" To which I cheekily replied, "I've already got one, mate. You’re ringing me on it!" At that point, he seemed to lose interest and hung up. What a bunch of nonsense! Best to steer clear and avoid such calls!

I've had a call from someone purporting to be with EE, insisting they can slash my bill by 35%. Not quite sure what to make of it!
