Just got a weird voicemail pretending to be from HMRC, saying I had to ring them back straight away. Definitely felt a bit off to me.

Got a call from someone who said they were with HMRC and Customs, but honestly, they didn’t sound very convincing. They said if we didn’t get back to them, there’d be serious consequences.
It’s a bit pathetic really, that these people have to spend their time trying to scare folks like this.

Just a heads up: HMRC would never ring you like that - watch out for scams.

They claimed to be from HM Custom but sounded a bit dodgy to me. Not sure if it was some sort of scam or just a wrong number, but I wouldn’t trust it right away. Seemed fishy when they called out of the blue like that.
