So this bloke rang me up and after a few questions, I asked him how he’d managed to get my number since I’m unlisted. Asked him the same thing again and then he just cut me off!

Got a robo call from Telepro Marketing saying it was about medical pendants, but then 01208 227337 rang me about will writing and funeral plans. Tried to call back a few other numbers like 01208 227335, 227336, and 227340 and all I got was 'service cannot be connected'. Then there’s a bunch of numbers from 01302 492730 to 492733 calling about driveways. Funny thing is the numbers right before and after these ranges also come up with that same disconnected message, which makes me suspicious it might be some dodgy scam going on. Better keep an eye out!

Just like others have said before, got a call from some bloke claiming to be John from a medical alerts company. He started with "Can I just ask if you’re over 50?" Immediately sounded dodgy to me. Total scam, seriously, don’t waste your time - just hang up straight away!

There was quite a pause after I picked up before anyone spoke, so I reckon they might be using one of those auto dialler systems that only links to a person once you’ve picked up. A bloke with a southern English accent and a polite manner eventually came on the line. He said he was calling from the Medical Alert Centre and mentioned I could qualify for a free alert pendant.
