I just had a rather dodgy phone call from someone purporting to represent a medical alert centre in Dorset. Honestly, it felt like an absolute scam! They went on about how I was eligible for some sort of alarm pendant and then started asking for my personal information. I promptly blocked the number!

Some bloke said he had an offer about solar panels or summat. He then started asking what sort of property I own and even my age range. I told him straight up he was cold calling me and I wasn’t going to answer his questions.

Today I got a call from someone claiming my records say I'm at risk and that I qualify for some kind of alert pendant due to health issues. I told them I wasn’t interested and just ended the call.

So I got this annoying call where they kept asking for someone by name. I said I’d get them, then just left the phone sitting right on the desk for about 15 minutes. Let them deal with the cost of the call themselves!
