The caller was quite ambiguous, despite my request for clarity, and then proceeded to bombard me with details about needing to provide me with compensation for an accident. I responded that I had no knowledge of any accident and that these matters ought to be handled via my insurance company. The chap on the line was exceedingly persistent. I firmly told him not to contact me again. When I pressed him about how they acquired my number, he failed to provide any answer.
