They kept ringing my landline like 14 times in two days, finally picked up and they go “Is this Mrs xxxxxx?” I just said “could be” and they hung up straight away. No way I was gonna say yes, heard they record your voice and use it for other dodgy scams. Pretty shifty if you ask me.

My mum got a call from someone pretending to be from an insurance firm, but they never said which one. They said she could save £100 on her payment since she’s a pensioner. Then they pushed her to give out her card info, saying the bank details might be wrong because cards change all the time. After she hung up, the same number kept ringing her back again and again. They’ve been on the blow every day this past week trying to get her to answer.
