It appears these tax fraudsters have a plethora of different phone numbers at their disposal. I received a call from one of them too. They asserted that there was a legal case against me regarding tax evasion and ominously warned me about facing possible imprisonment if I didn't return their call. Quite concerning, really!

Got a call from a robotic voice speaking English after receiving a weird message in Chinese about missed UPS packages. Feels like some sort of scam to me.

So today, 19/12/22 at midday, got a call from some supposed HMRC saying I’m being taken to court or whatever. Seriously, do these scammers ever get tired of this or have even a bit of decency in how they mess with people’s heads?!
