I got a call from someone pretending to be Virgin Media, saying there was suspicious activity on my account. They kept asking to get remote access to my PC so they could change my IP address and put on some security software. I told them I knew my way around computers and that I'd handle it myself, but the caller insisted they had to do it. I said I'd just call Virgin Media’s official tech team, and then they just hung up on me. Pretty sure it was a scam trying to sneak in ransomware or something worse. Watch out for this!
