I got a call from a number that was shown as Fry Inn Consett on my phone, but it turned out to be someone pretending to be from Three trying to get me to buy a mobile upgrade. I’m not a Three customer at all, and the caller insisted their number was real. After a bit of digging, I found out the Fry Inn’s number had been copied by a dodgy company selling phones. So yeah, the number is legit but it’s getting used by scammers.
