Consett? Never heard of it! Got a call that showed up as suspicious spam - pretty sure it's some dodgy call centre messing about. Anyone else had this?

At first, nothing but quiet, then suddenly an automated voice saying goodbye.

This number kept ringing my phone like 8 times this week. I finally picked up today and this Indian lady asked if it was really me she was talking to. I said yeah, but right after I mentioned that I record every call, she just ended it.

I recived a call from this number, and the person said he was calling from Sky. I didn’t really let him go any further than saying that before I ended the call.

Right from the get-go they said they weren’t after anything, which already felt a bit dodgy. Then out of nowhere they called me "mate" - not very professional, if you ask me. The weirdest bit? They promised I wouldn’t get another call from them again. Strange behaviour overall.

Picked up the call and the person just ended it straight away - seems like a scam to me.
