Got a call from some supposed bank security saying my card got charged £300 and £500 from Amazon, which I didn’t do. They told me to press 1 if it wasn’t me. The number was blocked on my caller ID so I added it to my call blocker. This is the 8th time today I’ve had these calls, all from different numbers, both on my mobile and landline. Really annoying and worrying, these scams should be shut down and the people behind them punished because they’re messing with vulnerable folks.

Got loads of calls from what they say is my bank about suspicious charges on my card like £300 and £500 on Amazon. They tell me to press 1 if it wasn’t me. Every time the number’s blocked straight away. This is the eighth call I've got today from different numbers on both my mobile and landline. Proper annoyed about it, these scammers must be caught and punished, they’re a real threat especially to older folks.
