Had a call recently from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Southern Water. A few weeks back, I gave my phone number and email out to some cold caller by mistake, and since then my details must have been passed around because I’m getting loads of annoying calls. Definitely stay clear - TOTAL SCAMMER!

Yet another call where no one even spoke, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. It’s getting annoying how often this happens, really needs to stop somehow. If you get a call from a code you don’t know and it’s not one you recognise, best just let it ring.

Got a call at around 6.05pm on Thursday the 9th of November. No one said a word when I answered, so I ended the call and dialled 1471 to check the last number. I looked through my contacts but didn’t recognise the number at all. A quick Google search showed the call originated from the Colchester area. I’d really warn folks to ignore this number and definitely don’t try to call back. It’s clear this is just some sort of nuisance, probably with shady intentions. Honestly, I wish BT would ban these numbers since so many people are getting hassled by this sort of thing.

Got a call the other day, a recorded voice pitching replacement windows that supposedly save energy. Felt like a typical salesy spam to me. Pretty annoying how these automated calls just keep popping up.

Got a silent call where the line just stayed open with no sound, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number. Funny enough, I hadn’t had any dodgy calls in days but today I got loads from 'unknown' numbers and 03334432615 all in one go. Feels like it’s all connected somehow. Like some others have mentioned, the authorities must know exactly who's behind this nonsense and where they’re calling from - so why haven’t these pests been stopped yet?

Got a call with no sound that just hung up after about 10 seconds but the line stayed connected. I called the number back, and BT told me it’s not a real one. Looks like scammers messing about with fake numbers, probably trying to make it look like they’re calling from Colchester. Proper nasty stuff. I’ve blocked the number now, but I’m sure they’ll ring again tomorrow, just with a different false number showing up on my caller ID. Why don’t places like GCHQ do anything to stop these dodgy callers? It’s frustrating.
