9 yearsI've been getting loads of annoying calls from this number and also 01274664170. They keep ringing and it's really frustrating. I've decided to start blocking them now since it’s not just irritating but feels a bit risky too.9 yearsThese scam calls keep coming non-stop, but instead of getting annoyed and hanging up straight away, I flip it on them to wind them up. I just go along with whatever they’re saying, making the chat drag on for ages. I tell them it might take about 5 minutes to fire up the PC upstairs and then say sorry for the “long wait” that’s coming. They tend to give up and hang up after about 5 minutes or so. It’s quite amusing when you later get calls from them trying again, only for there to be no answer. Every 6-8 minutes they're stuck on my line is 6-8 minutes they can’t scam anyone else!9 yearsA woman claimed to be from BT tech support and tried to spin me a yarn about a virus. I entertained her for around 15 minutes, listening to her drivel, before revealing that I work in IT. At that point, she abruptly cut the call. It was clearly a scam.BT9 yearsGot a dodgy call, so I just blocked the number.9 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, trying to infiltrate my computer. I strung him along for quite a while, and in the end, he resorted to calling me a daft cow. Quite the charmer, isn’t he?BT9 yearsI got a call from a woman named Alice who spoke with an Indian accent. She claimed she was from BT tech support and told me there were issues with my broadband. I told her I didn’t have any problems and didn’t think she was really from BT, then she just ended the call.AliceBT9 yearsGot a call around 10am this morning from someone saying they were from BT? They were likely going to mention an issue, but since we don’t even have BT as our supplier here, we just hung up. Been through this a few times before, and when I say BT isn’t our provider, they claim BT is like the main or central hub for all internet services. Anybody know if that’s actually the case? Seems a bit dodgy to me.BT9 yearsReceived a call from this number, asserting they were from BT, and they warned me they’d terminate my internet within two hours if I didn’t comply. Quite alarming!BT9 yearsthis number has called me twice within like 10 mins, claiming they were from bti. i asked how they even got my number cause I’m ex-directory and not with bt. they also said something about bt being the main server for all internet?? really confused. ive already changed my number two times but these calls just keep coming, it’s so annoying! how do I make it stop? such a headache.BTI9 yearsAbout ten minutes back, I got a call at my job from someone claiming to be with BT. He said they had received reports about slow internet around here and called to fix it. Since I work in healthcare and know our IT team handles that stuff, I didn’t buy it and told him he was just wasting my precious time. He flipped it back on me, saying I was wasting his time, and then hung up. Pretty sure that wasn’t really anyone from BT.BTSubmit Your Own Report (01206 871448)
