I’ve been bombarded with a seemingly endless stream of phone calls from this particular number. More often than not, I’m met with nothing but silence followed by a curt ‘Goodbye’. On two occasions, I’ve managed to converse with the caller, who speaks with an Asian accent and claims to be from BT. Each time, I’ve insisted he removes my number from their records, yet the calls persist. I’ve received two in less than thirty minutes! It's incredibly infuriating to keep picking up the phone only to be greeted by silence.

I got a call about some nuisance calls I complained about a couple days back, and then they started asking me which bank my direct debit was linked to and wanted some card info. Pretty sure it was just another scammer.

I got a call from a lady who spoke with a strong East European accent, saying she was from some phone conference. They asked if I was still getting calls even though I’m on the do not call list. She already knew my name and where I live, which I admitted to. Then they tried to ask for the expiry date on my credit card but I just hung up straight away.

Seriously, how many of these bloody callers are gonna keep ringing, trying to scare you into believing you’ll be sued over unpaid internet and phone bills? They really should be shut down for this nonsense.

Got a call from a bloke called Jack, I think he was some sort of telephone preference managment guy. He kept asking if I was fed up with annoying calls trying to get me to sign up for paid stuff. Honestly, just don’t answer yes to anything, best to just hang up straight away. Avoid the hassle!

This particular number has been a right nuisance, ringing me four times today alone. Each time I answer, there's just a long pause, followed by some robotic voice saying "Goodbye." Quite frankly, it's not at all amusing!
