2 yearsdefinitely a scam, nothing legit about it at all.2 yearsReceived one of those automated calls, you know the type - “press 1 for this, press 2 for that”. In a bid to wind them up a bit, I opted for ‘1’, and lo and behold, a voice claimed to be from my bank’s VISA fraud unit, saying there was a £600 transaction using a method I had no clue about. After a lengthy interrogation on my part, when I mentioned that I held VISA cards from three different banks and pressed them on which bank they supposedly represented, they promptly terminated the call. Mission accomplished! 😊2 yearsGot a call about some 'payment to Amazon' and an international bank transfer, but they never actually said which bank - just kept saying 'your bank'! Definitely sounded fishy to me.Amazon2 yearsI picked up the phone and a robotic voice told me it was the bank’s security team. It claimed there were requests to withdraw £300 and £1,100 from my account for some purchases, then said to press 1 to talk to someone. I didn’t press anything because no bank would ring and speak like that. Pretty clear it was a dodgy scam call.Submit Your Own Report (01206 823872)
