I ignored a call from a London number linked to this lot and blocked it straight away. Not long after, I got another call, this time from Colchester. The woman introduced herself as Esme and spoke with an Indian accent. She kept pushing me, but I stayed firm and didn’t engage. She threatened to call back the next day, so I've blocked that one too. They claimed they were from something like searchbusiness[###] and said they needed to speak to the business owner to get my website launched. I checked with my husband, who actually built the site, and it’s clear these people are just scammers.

Once again, got a call saying "Club la Costa is going bust". When I asked how they found me, they said it was from something called The TimeshareRegister. I told them no such registry exists and they quickly became quite aggressive. I told them I wasn’t interested, and then they got rude and just dropped the call. Not long after, I got another call from the same area code but a different number. From now on, I’m just going to block any number that rings without leaving a voicemail.

I picked up a call from this number today, the area code points to Colchester, Essex, but the woman on the line, Jennifer, spoke with a strong Irish accent and said she was actually calling from Tenerife. She claimed they got my details from some so-called Timeshare Registration Office, which I never heard of, and mentioned a website: [#]euresorts[###] - it looked pretty genuine at first glance. However, what she was pitching seemed like a dodgy timeshare scam. After being burned once before by timeshare nonsense, I’m not falling for anything like that again!

This number has been ringing me a few times each day since early this week. I've avoided picking up, but they just keep coming. I’m gonna block it for sure, though they seem to switch to different phone numbers whenever one gets blocked. So annoying!

Got a call today, 2nd October 2020, from someone saying they’re from a firm that deals with compensation claims for mis-sold timeshares. Thing is, I don't have a timeshare anymore since the company went bust years ago. They mentioned a no win-no fee deal and something about arranging a Zoom meeting soon. Will see how that pans out…

Got a call from someone named Jenifer claiming to be from EU Resorts. I picked up but had no clue why they were ringing. I’m really wary about these calls, especially since it’s been pretty quiet on that front during lockdown. Makes me think these dodgy or scam calls are back on the rise. I've tried blocking the number loads of times but it somehow keeps ringing anyway. Proper annoying.

Got a phone call from these lot a couple days back, asking about a timeshare we owned ages ago. They wanted to find out how we managed to get rid of it and if we'd be up for going after it again through a release firm called Itra, which we’d tried before. Told them we’d already lost about 5k to Itra, but I’ve put it all behind me now. The woman on the phone sounded friendly enough but was pretty pushy. They definitely had a fair bit of info about us, which was a bit unsettling. Honestly, I regret chatting with them. If they ring again, I’m just gonna hang up straight away.

I got a call from some timeshare place and they already had all my info. I wasted like half an hour chatting just to tell them I wasn’t keen. They got so annoyed they just hung up on me!

I’ve been getting loads of calls lately from the UK, even though I’m here in NZ. This one caller knew my name and said they were from ilm. I didn’t answer, but as soon as I hung up, they rang me straight back. It’s been happening quite a lot recently.

I just got a call from someone who already knew my name and the country I moved to after leaving the UK. When I asked where they’d gotten my info from, they said it came from a survey or something shared. I told them how uneasy it made me feel to get such a random call and that it seemed quite dodgy. The guy told me to have a look at the JIM website and said they’d be calling again next week to chat about new pension regulations and transferring pensions over.

dont trust these calls, they are not from ilm financial ltd at all. theres another company called ilm global (international lead management) that might be ringing you out of the blue. weve already reported them to the fca and action fraud here in the uk. my advice is to just hang up if you get any cold calls about your pension. as the fca said recently, "if someone cold calls you about your pension, theyre probably trying to scam you and steal your savings." be careful!
