Received a call on my mobile earlier today. It was from a firm called First Contact, if I remember correctly. They were inquiring about a car accident I supposedly had a few months ago. I informed them I don’t drive, which had the caller in fits of laughter! He then apologised for the intrusion and explained that they acquire our information from another company, and they’re also linked to PPI claims. He assured me he’d have my details wiped from their records and that there’s really nothing to fret over. It’s refreshing to encounter a friendly cold caller, but it is rather bothersome that some organisation I've dealt with is passing my information around. Just to clarify, I do drive, but it’s quite amusing to give these callers a bit of a runaround sometimes!

For ages now, this number has been pestering my mobile, incessantly asking for a chap named Igor. I’ve repeatedly informed them that there’s no Igor in sight, but the calls just keep coming. So, today when they rang again, I decided to turn the tables and bombarded the caller with some rather personal queries regarding their anatomy. Fingers crossed they’ve taken the hint and will cease their calls! If this happens to you, I'd suggest either leading them on a wild goose chase or throwing in a few tantalising questions about their life, just to keep things interesting!

I received a call from this number today, the 7th of May 2015, around 1:19 PM. My phone rang twice, and just as I answered, the line dropped.
