After Bandwidth bought them out in 2020, their virtual number services have been merged into Bandwidth. Still, Voxbone numbers are notorious here for being linked to scam and spam calls. I quickly hung up because I didn’t want my voice to get recorded for some dodgy scam.4 monthsGot a dodgy call from some robot voice, claimed to be "David" saying he could give me a quote to spruce up my windows and doors - apparently they're over a decade old, according to their records. Every time I asked, "How did you get my number?" (and I’m on the TPS list), they just ignored it and carried on reading from a pre-written script. The call ended with a warning that someone else, another "David," would ring me back in about 40 minutes to set up a survey and quote.
