Got a supposed satisfaction survey call from Colchester Hospital. At first, the robot voice made it seem legit, but it wasn’t obvious who was calling. The intro was really messy and hard to understand, so I just ended the call. Bit disappointing, as I would’ve happily given them top marks for the support I received during my cancer symptom checks.

I received a curious call from a recorded female voice, allegedly representing the NHS. She asked for someone whose name I completely missed. Then, she instructed me to press button 1 if I wasn't that person and proceeded to request that they come to the phone. There were a couple more button options presented, one of which I pressed to indicate that the individual didn't reside here. After that, she offered a polite apology before hanging up. I must say, it all seemed a bit odd!

i get loads of calls from scammers who steal numbers that look like they're from the nhs or hospitals, hoping you'll answer thinking it's important. i'm ex directory so my number's not on any list but still get all these scam calls. from what i understand, these fraudsters try to hack into your phone line so they can mess with your internet too. the people behind it are well known to the police, who have been told, but they need more proof to act. the tricky part is, these scammers hide behind vpns and fake the numbers to seem legit.
