Never share your details on calls you weren't expecting, even if the person sounds convincing. Scammers are clever enough to fake caller ID so it looks like your bank or credit card company calling. If you're unsure, you could always say you’ll ring back. Genuine companies won’t mind, but scammers usually want to keep you on the phone to trick you.

Got another dodgy call today, someone pretending to be from Amazon about my Prime account being cancelled. They kept telling me to press 1 to talk to the operator. Didn't fall for it, just ended the call straight away!

I just got a recorded call telling me my Amazon Prime subscription would renew automatically for £39.99. They said if I wanted to cancel, I should talk to someone on the phone. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime! No clue why they were ringing me. I’ve blocked the number now!

Got a robo call claiming to be from Amazon, saying my free Prime trial was ending and I'd start getting charged every month. I cut it off straightaway and rang Amazon myself. They told me I’ve never had Prime and said the number I got the call from isn’t theirs. They took down the number and said they'd report it too. Proper scam, watch out!
