Got flagged as sketchy, so I went ahead and blocked it.

Just after 9 this morning, I got my first call of the day from some automated voice with an American accent. They claimed our BT internet was at risk of being cut off because it’d been hacked in multiple countries. I didn’t hang about - ended the call straight away and blocked the number. Funny enough, even though the number showed up on the screen, it was marked as ‘unavailable’, which usually sets off my scam alarm bells.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT saying my internet and phone line had been compromised. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it. My bank warned me that these calls are dodgy attempts to trick you. Keep your guard up!
