Got a call from someone claiming to be from Mastercard or Visa, saying there was a £600 charge on my card just moments ago. Felt like a dodgy call straight away, so I just cut it off. Later, I tried checking the number by dialling 1471, but it told me the number wasn’t valid or couldn’t be found. Definitely a scam in my opinion.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Mastercard or Visa about a £600 purchase just made on my card. Felt iffy about it and ended the call quickly. Just curious, I tried dialing 1471 to check the number back, but it came up saying it wasn't a valid number or something like that. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.
