01205 881290 Called by a bloke claiming to be 'David' from BT's Tech Support saying my internet was hacked. He had a strong Asian accent and asked all the usual questions like if I was at my PC so he could “show me the fault.” It was a quiet morning so I played along for a bit, roughly 5 minutes, then told him I’ve never come across such issues in all my years working in network management. His reply? ‘F### off! MotherF#####r’ - so pretty sure he wasn’t actually from BT. :) If I’ve annoyed one of these idiots and added to their headache, I’m chuffed!

Got a call from this number out of the blue. The bloke on the phone knew my name and an old address, which was odd. He claimed to be the same person as my boss, clearly not true! I reckon it was to try and get me to trust him. He said I’d completed a survey. I asked where he got my details from and when he dodged the question, I asked to speak to his manager. A woman came on and said the company was called Verso. She wouldn’t say where they’d got my info, but did say they’d remove my details from their system. Honestly, I doubt they’ll actually do it though.

Got another “survey” call from these so-called specialists in behind-the-scenes pain. Same lady as usual, but she must be on a world tour or something coz each time she rings, she’s from a different place. Blocked that number straight away. They never take people off their list no matter how many times you ask them to stop.

Got a call from a lady with a foreign accent (Asian, I think) saying she was from Verso doing a survey (180319). I told her no and asked to be taken off their list. Then today (220319), they rang me while I was at work. I ended the call, but they rang right back. I cut them off again, but then they called a third time and I hung up once more. The number was 01202026855 (Bournemouth). I looked it up online and, sure enough, it’s Verso but a different phone number. Honestly, it's ridiculous.

Got a call from some survey firm named Verso. They already had my name, address and mobile, which really creeped me out. When I asked the lady where they got my details, she claimed I had filled out a survey. Told her I never do surveys, demanded they erase my info and quit calling me with their annoying rubbish. Ended the call before she could say another word.

Got a random call from a number I didn’t recognise. I picked up and just left my phone on the table without saying anything. After about six seconds of no response, the caller just hung up. The beep sound when the call ended made me think it was from one of those call centres, probably somewhere abroad but showing a UK number.

I didn't get to pick up when they rang but I'm looking forward to chatting with them if they ring me back! When I did a 1471, it came up as Versa Group (I Love My Offers). The guy's voice sounds really odd, with a weird American accent. Definitely not a firm you'd wanna trust. Since they're just cold calling, might as well keep them on the line and waste a bit of their time.
