Got a recorded call about my Amazon Prime subscription renewing and told to press 1 if I wanted to talk to a manager. I did press 1 because these calls are getting so annoying. The person on the line then asked me to install TeamViewer on my supposed iPhone so they could “help” with a refund. When I asked why they needed control of my phone, they said it was to give me my money back. I ended up spending around 20 minutes explaining to them how wrong this all is. Really worrying stuff for anyone more trusting than me.
