Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky, saying they could give me a discount on my equipment charges. They mentioned a sum I supposedly owed from last year, but that was totally bogus. Definitely didn't happen.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up about my Sky insurance for their equipment. When I asked for the policy number because I had it right there to hand, he couldn’t give it to me. I said I already have Sky Protect set to auto-renew. Then he just hung up straight away. Pretty clear that was a scam, no doubt about it.
