Got a call from someone claiming to switch me from BT to Virgin Media. The bloke had this Australian accent and was super chatty, seemed a bit too nice if you ask me. He mixed up some of my info, which made me hang up straight away.

So frustrating, they phoned me like 4 times asking for my details. I asked them, if you called me, then who did you mean to call? They just kept calling me "mam" over and over. I've blocked the number now.

Someone rang pretending to be from Sky, but they didn’t bother to check who I was first, which is weird because every time I’ve spoken to Sky before, they always verify. Even when they pass you on to someone else, they do it. Then when I wasn’t quick enough to give them info, they got rude and just ended the call. Sounds like a proper scam to me - don’t waste your time with these lot.
