Some woman with an asian accent said she was from ‘save the whales’ or something like that. I told her she’d got the wrong number and asked her not to phone again!

I got a recorded message telling me it was HMRC and that an arrest warrant had been made against me with a prompt to press 1 to carry on. Then this woman with a thick foreign accent saying she was HMRC rang back, I told her I was a tax officer and called her out as a scammer. She just ended the call straight away.

I got a call with a robotic voice saying it was from HMRC and that there was an arrest warrant out for me, then asked me to press 1 to go on. Then some woman with a strange accent called herself HMRC, told me I was a tax officer and that she was the one scamming. She just ended the call after that.
