Got a call from a woman with a British accent, sounded like it was a recorded message. She was saying something about my loft insulation possibly being eligible for a free upgrade. She asked if I owned the house. Even though I do, I said I didn’t. The caller just hung up right after that.

Got a call at lunch earlier, it was a woman with a London accent but sounded like a robot - no breaks at all, definitely a prerecorded message. She was asking if I wanted someone to check my loft insulation and send a surveyor out. She also mentioned something about making a claim for problems with cladding? Sounded dodgy to me. I blocked the number and reported it to 7726.

Received a call from this number at precisely 10:34 in the morning on 1st March 2024. Opted not to pick up, though.

I’ve had calls from this same lady, but she rings me from about five separate numbers, all based in different areas. I found the easiest way to handle it is to either say she needs to talk to the landlord, or just end the call right away. The annoying part is, they don’t seem to take your number off their list at all, so they keep coming back, sometimes even on the very same day but from a new number.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from an energy firm, saying she was reaching out to house owners. Thing is, A) I don’t own a house B) I tried to get a word in but she just kept going non stop C) told her to take my number off the list, she kept talking right over me without pausing! I had to raise my voice, yet she kept at it. Seemed like a robo call but came across pretty normal. Yeah, I’ve blocked them now for sure!!
