I received a call purporting to be from Boston, UK. It's the third time today that my phone has been targeted by these pesky spam calls, making it nearly twenty this month alone. I’m absolutely fed up with all this nonsense! I've blocked them all 🚫.

To be honest, I approach any unsolicited calls with a healthy dose of suspicion; unless it’s from someone I know, I regard them all as potential scams!

He greeted me with a friendly 'hello'. I responded in kind, and this back-and-forth continued for a bit. Eventually, I confessed that I'd misplaced my hearing aid. I enjoy dragging these calls out just for a laugh. At least he wasn't busy trying to con someone else in the meantime! No doubt about it, this was definitely a scam coming from India.

This number, 01205540141, is definitely a dodgy one related to appliance insurance — sounds like a scam from India! They aren't even following the Telephone Preference Service regulations. I'm really losing patience with these con artists!

It engaged with my responses but felt very robotic. The conversation was centred around a so-called 'complimentary' home insulation survey, which screamed energy scam to me. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.
