Had yet another dodgy call today - the kind that makes your skin crawl. They claimed my internet would be cut off within a day unless I pressed 1 to connect with OFFTEL, or 2 for some vague babble. I'm not falling for that rubbish; I didn’t do either. I was quite stunned to find out that when I checked 1471, the number was from the same exchange as mine! Quite the coincidence, isn’t it?
