Received a dubious call from BT Openreach, which seems to be quite a frequent occurrence. They usually kick things off by claiming that they’ve noticed your broadband connection is sluggish, then they prompt you to reset your router or to log in and input a code. Just yesterday, I encountered another one using the number 01239 613650. Both were clearly fraudulent. I've informed BT and enabled Call Protect, but it’s infuriating how they constantly switch numbers. No matter who provides your internet service, they would never ring you out of the blue asking for such information. Just a firm reminder: ignore any security questions they might throw your way!
