I've gotten calls on both my home phone and mobile from a number in Boston. They mentioned something about my upcoming appointments, claiming to be from Lincoln Hospital. I'm a bit sceptical, though—hard to tell if it's the real deal or a scam!

I've found that this number belongs to the main reception at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire. Strangely enough, when you dial it, you’re immediately put on hold with some music playing, as if you're queuing for a concert rather than seeking help!

It's alright to pick up when it’s from the local hospital.

This number kept incessantly ringing, and I didn’t pick up since I was in the midst of getting cleaned up and dressed. It’s rather frustrating, to say the least, especially since I have no clue who it might be. To top it off, we’re listed as unlisted, so it’s quite baffling!

Upon picking up the call, I found myself utterly bewildered by the incoherent chatter on the other end. It was nothing more than a jumble of nonsensical words, prompting me to hang up immediately. The number that flashed on my screen was 01205445000.

In the past couple of days, I've received three calls from this number, and it definitely raised a few red flags for me. While the area code is correct for my locality, it features a strange prefix starting with 44, which is rather unusual around here; we normally see the digit 3 at the beginning. I've now decided to block the number and report it as a potential scam. Better safe than sorry, eh?

I received a rather unsolicited call today from an individual claiming to represent a company. He began extolling the benefits of solar panels and how much I could potentially save, yet he never revealed the name of the business he was associated with. Feeling rather uneasy about the whole exchange, I decided to hang up.

I tend to ignore calls from numbers I’m not familiar with, and I usually make an effort to track down the organisation behind the call. Unfortunately, I haven't had any success with this particular number.
