Received a call from an unidentified number. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, which I find a bit off-putting. I opted not to answer, as it rang in around half past nine—definitely a time when those nuisance calls seem to pile up.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from an individual with an accent that suggested he was not from around here. He was offering me £40 for some obscure reason, claiming it had something to do with winter fuel payments. Definitely sounded like a dodgy scam to me!

I received a communication claiming I was owed a £40 refund on my electricity bill, but they insisted on verifying my account details and so forth. I decided to give them a fake account just for kicks, seeing as if they were genuine, they ought to have all that info to hand. Surprise, surprise, they didn’t and then proceeded to ask for my bank particulars. Shifty behaviour, if you ask me!

I received a call from an Asian lady who seemed eager to dig up information about me. It was clear she already had some familiarity with my details, but I had no intention of revealing anything. Just as she began another sentence, I ended the conversation abruptly. Honestly, just your typical day dealing with a dodgy scammer! Stay alert, folks!
