This isn't my bank's contact number. I received a notification claiming that funds had been moved and I need to ring this number to sort it out.

I got a robocall claiming to be my bank—though it didn’t name which one, mind you. The recorded message said there were peculiar transactions linked to two supposedly pending payments and rattled off the amounts. It then prompted me to press 1 if I wanted to proceed with the payment or 2 to chat with someone from the bank. Of course, I’m not falling for that!
