On the 4th of October, 2019, when we picked up the phone, we were greeted by a pre-recorded message that rang through on not just one, but two of our landline phones. The message ominously warned us that our internet would face disconnection within the next day, and it prompted us to press different keys based on our internet service provider. Quite unnerving, to say the least!
