I’ve blocked loads of Boston numbers like these and never picked up. But today I answered one out of interest (cos I had already googled similar numbers and knew they were a pain). A bloke asked for me by name, but when I asked who it was, he muttered something I couldn’t catch, like the name of a company. Then when I asked what the call was about, he just said goodbye and hung up! I’ve blocked that number too but still get loads of calls daily from Boston area codes. They all seem to be some sort of PPI or sales scam. It’s proper annoying cold call pestering.

I was proper confused since I don’t even have one. Then he started shouting at me down the phone saying, ‘don’t you understand how serious this is?’ I ended up hanging up. Really rude guy.
